 When I first bought my horse Batal I thought he was trained. Well I was wrong and I had no clue how to work with him to settle him down and not be afraid of things. I was scared to get back on him after he took off with me one day. Then I found Katie one day as I was looking for trainers on the internet. In almost 3 months he came from being a horse that takes off with you to a horse that that just stood there! I was so amazed how well he turned out and now he is a wonderful horse to ride! Now I am not afraid because I know he is not going anywhere and if he does she has taught me how to stop him. I love the way she trains in natural horsemanship and she also explains everything to you. This is definitely her true calling in life. I can never thank Katie enough for bringing me and Batal closer as a horse and rider and now he is not afraid of anything!! Thank you so much.

I adopted my  Draft/QH cross foul  in 2004 and have really enjoyed watching him  grow and bonding with him. When he turned  5, he really started intimidating me being at 17h and I was growing fearful of him and not working with him the way I should have been. I told my husband I wanted to sell him because I knew I was going to end up getting hurt. Then I met Katie. I’ve always loved  Natural Horsemanship and when Katie started working with Santana and I, he turned into a different horse, almost immediately. She showed me how to communicate with him and how to watch for different signs of how he was communicating with me. I can’t begin to explain the joy I felt when Santana and I started working together. Katie gave me the confidence and the education I needed to establish the relationship I so much desired with Santana and I have bonded with him in a way I never thought possible.  Katie is very knowledgeable with her training, very patient and explains everything she does and why.  I can’t thank her enough for what she has done for Santana and I and I look forward to the continued training with her and advancing to different levels. This is truly a success story.

I was introduced to the idea of “natural horsemanship” about 3 years ago by going to a Parelli seminar. I fell in love with the idea and spent a fortune on books and how to videos on natural horsemanship. It was easy for me to watch the videos, read the books  and understand the concepts. But without our horses in my living room I struggled to put the techniques  into action. My teenage daughter began to lose interest and the horses started to become more of a chore . Wow did that ever change when we met Katie! She has not only increased our enthusiasm toward our horses but she has given us the desire to be at the barn as much as possible again. She includes us in teaching  our horses so that we are able to continue to work with them between lessons. She has not only helped our horses find confidence and trust in us, but helped us trust them and become stronger leaders.

I could spend hours telling stories about the amazing transformation Katie has made in our lives. She has already made an huge difference in all of our horses in less  than a year. I can’t wait to see where we will be at this time next year. The most impressive thing is how she has reignited my teenage daughter’s love for horses and desire to ride. The relationship she is helping  to build between my daughter, Casey and  Max is amazing. He is beginning to read her minds and “play” with her.  Katie is very knowledgeable with any questions we have about the horses. She always explains why she is doing whatever it is even if it seems crazy at the time.  I would recommend her training methods to anyone who truly loves their hoses and want to have a relationship with them.

I like to trail ride and need to trailer my horse whenever I go. I like to basically point and have my horse self load. The thought of trailering being "an issue" was not what I wanted. My new horse was proving to be unreliable loading into my trailer. He was nervous and would more times than not refuse to  get on. I would end  up having to take my other horse.

 Katie had my new horse loading calmly after the first session. In subsequent sessions I asked her to work with him loading by himself on both sides of my two horse trailer and also with my other horse already loaded. Katie's methods are consistent with the principles of natural horsemanship, which is important to me. What could have been a fight with my horse was instead an interesting learning experience for him. I now can trailer load any of my three horses with no worries. I can take who I want - not who will load that day. Working with Katie was a win/win situation.

      Katie is an intelligent and capable trainer. She knows  how to approach the many different situations that arise when training. I have seen her work with several different horses and I have learned many things from  her. She has taught me that training follows a similiar progression, but that every horse or pony has its own individual needs and style of learning. I rode Ladd for 3 weekends in a row and I LOVE HIM SO MUCH!! He has so much improved in these last rides, I couldn't stop bragging about him to everyone on the ride. He hasn't done a thing wrong the whole ride. AND THE BUCKING STOPPED!! He is the horse I always wanted. Thanks for all the care and training.
